I have a 95 formula. Im getting an EGR engine light code. I replaced the EGR and didnt fix...I noticed there is a vacuum tube that goes from the egr valve to a sensor. It is about 3 inches long....My little 3 inch tube has a piece of like rubber heat shrink wrap on it where it looks like the vacuum tube was broke and somebody used the shrink wrap it back together...Can somebody else check theirs and see if that rubber shrink wrap is there from the factory or if is a patch job by a mechanic along the way??? If it is a patch job, I want to try replacing that before I go and replace the EGR sensor thing and waste more money. THanks! Joe.
