EGR Question

Is there any electrical wire in the vacuum line what so ever? Because I disconnected my line and put a screw in it to plug the line. And now, the car won't start up. I think the battery may also be dieing. Whenever I turn it the key I'm getting a crazy clicking sound. Could the screw have messed anything up? It was a button head, I put it in as for as it would go, I took it out and tried to start it...again, crazy clicking sound.

Sounds like the battery is dead, is the clicking coming from the starter. Try jump starting it.

the vac line at the valve connects to the EVR selinoid witch has an electrical connection. but either way that will not cause your no start. the starter does not have enouh power.. check your battery

It was the battery. I jumped it with my Camry. I have another problem though. For a while now my cooling fans will not turn off! They are on constantly even when I have accessory on. I was thinking about wiring them on a seperate switch. Any Ideas?

Anytime you set a DTC and the MIL (SES) comes on and stays on, the computer goes into a default mode and will automatically turn on the fans.

Unplug your battery and reset the computer and see if it works. Having the fans run constant wont hurt anything. One of mine was rewired to run constantly before I bought it 3 years ago and works fine.
