EGR pipe bolt?? quick response please

Im trying to find out what the size of the bolt where the egr pipe connects to the manifold or in my case headers. I lost it and need another one. I tried searching on shoebox's site but it listed the part number not the size. Im guessing this is the part number #10222897. It came off the exploded view of his site.
Thanks
Omar

When I did a header install, the coating had plugged up the threads in the mount on the header tube, and I used a 5/16-18 tap to clean them out.

Re: EGR pipe bolt?? quick response please

I lost mine too, nobody seemed to know. Even at the GM dealer i had the guy look it up and he couldn't tell me the thread size...3/8ths and 10mm both wouldn't fit...threads weren't dirty at all. I could have tapped it if i wanted to take my headers out again. Instead i just put the pipe on and used a 5/16ths bolt with a nut on the other end to hold it on. Hopefully that lasts a while

thanks for the help guys. I dont have the pipe to put on i have a block off plate. That bolt and nut deal sounds like an idea. Ill just smear it with some locktite and it should hold.
