EGR/Fuel Trim Questions

EGR/Fuel Trim Questions
Let me preface this post, with the fact that question mark key on my key board is inop. Please keep this in mind, when all my questions are punctuated with a period.
I smoke tested my car, and found it had about 50 vacuum leaks. The 2 RH rear injectors were leaking, the intake elbow was leaking, and the throttle body, and IAC were leaking. I also got smoke out of the diaphragm, on the EGR valve.
I replaced or repaired everything that was leaking, and used AC Delco parts where I could, and re-smoked it. No more smoke from anywhere, except the EGR valve diaphragm. Exactly like the old one did.
Is this normal, or did I get another bad EGR valve. I asked around at work, and got about a 50/50 mix of normal/not normal.
When I looked at my fuel trims tonight, they were a little high, but not real high.
ST was around 125-127
LT was around 130-132
coasting, they both went to exactly 128
My idle was exactly 800 rpm, and the O2 sensors are working, and passed both tests using a Tech II scanner. The car still smells rich, and does have a miss at idle, but you can't hear, or feel it under load.
Hopefully Shoebox, or Injuneer can answer my EGR question, as it's driving me nuts not knowing.
