Car is a 97 with obd2. I'm hoping to do an egr delete this weekend. I already have the 3 blockoff plates. My question is what do I do with the EGR solenoid? Do I just remove the small hose that runs from the solenoid to the valve and cap it or do I remove the solenoid all together and cap the intake?

I've thrown a code for 3 years since my headers went in and have dealt with a horrible idle since. 3 dealerships have looked at it and said the egr caused the rough idle. I figured this was a cheap way to test that theory. Thanks.
