Whats the size of the EGR bolt that goes into the header? Let me know ASAP, thanks

 

I'm not sure of the size, but the bolt itself is GM part number 10222897.

 

Need the size.... anyone?

Chances are it is a 5/16-18. Information for the size is not listed in the parts book.

 

Sounds right.... I looked back over my years old JBA header install procedure and found:

6) Check the bolt hole to mount the EGR tube to the passenger side header to be sure it is threaded. Mine wasn’t. I tapped it with a 5/16-18 tap.
