I have a 95 z28 6-speed that has the EGR blocked off. When i first start the car it runs fine but when it gets up to normal temp. it surges at idle and runs real rich. I dont have the EGR tuned out. will that cause my car to surge and run rich? Or does tuning it out just disable the code?

I would look for leaks in the intake ducting between the MAF and the TB.
