efi connection conversion

efi connection conversion

how many of you have made the swap and was it worth it? i have to get a newer tranny which sucks for me cause nothing is wrong with mine so i was just wondering. would love to do away with the opti but at the same time dont want to make more problems trying to solve one. thanks in advance

It was worth if for me; I could never get my car to run 100% how I wanted it until I did the swap. I have never had a problem with the ignition since and best of all no more changing the opti. I did it for around $800, reworking your own harness is the cheapest way to go.

Thanks for replying. Is the billet cover necessary or did you mod yours. I work with some guts that could probably do my harness where might I find instructions or diagrams?I got to go the cheapest route possible cause i got to get a transmission with newer electronics too

You will also need to get the connector kit.
