Edelbrock Midlenght Headers???

I have these on my car currently and don't know if it's worth the trouble to go to LT's? I have the mids and offroad y and the car has gone 13.5@104.5. Is it worth the trouble to go to lt's or are the edelbrock mids as good as they say? Any info would be helpful. Thanks, Jarred

Some people will argue the mids are more HP at high RPM's. There was a huge post about this the other day. I really dont thin its worth the trouble to switch from MIds to LT, you probably wont feel a gain or loss either way. Just stick with what you have, They are the "easier" header anyways!

Yeah I like the idea of not having to worry about them hitting all the time like lt's do especially on the lowered cars.

Put your money elsewhere, you will see better gains. No reason to do headers AGAIN...they too much pain, and LT cost alot more. For the gain you will see(if any)..its not worth it.

If you were pushing 500+Hp then I would say you would need to upgrade..but not now.

Is there a difference b/t the Edelbrock shorties and the Edelbrock mids? Mine are considered midlenghts just wondered if they made a shortie and if there was any difference. Thanks, Jarred

Thier both the same thing. I think Edle brock just changed up the marketing scheme for the item. They also gave the headers more of a BBK kind of look. Edelbrock is just started to get into making stuff really for modern cars. I just can't get over the fact that they have more stuff available for a civic than a freaking 95 Camaro.

Id go long tubes if you plan on modding further, plus you'll gain more HP right off the bat...Edlebrock LT1 headers are kinda crappy

On your 94 you've got a single exhaust pipe. Good thing you don't live in Cali because the smog ***** will be after you for moving the cats.

That's another story.

I've got Edelbrocks and anything is better than stock manifolds. You may gain 5-8 extra torque with LTs depending on your head/cam/intake/ and programming... could be more.
