Someone pointed out on another board that Edelbrock had some new stuff out. They are advertising an LT4 complete top end package. See the PDF below. Have any porters played with the edelbrock LT4 heads yet? I was wondering what their impressions were. What type of flow numbers are possible? I know out the box the Edelbrock heads arent that great and most people are going to recomend ported stock heads. I was really just interested in opinions on the potential for ported flow compared to stock LT4, Trickflow, Dart Lt1 Pro, AFR, etc.

What power level do you want to be at?

Most people are very happy with ported stockers.

 

im sure they want about 3 grand for the setup. not worth it to pick up a few hp

 

I was asking mostly for information purposes not for something I'm working on. I was curious what some porters thought about them. When it's time for a rebuild, I'd like to get ported aftermarket heads for a stroker.

No real information there, pitiful!

 

Found the flow data after some searching, the 61909 peformer flows 242 and 184 @ .500", the "extreme lt4" 61939 flows 270 and 190 @ .600". for $2000.00 for a set

 

The LT4s do have larger int/ext valves than OEMs.
