Edelbrock LT1 performer intake

I was looking at "Popular Hot Roddings SBC Performance Trends" at a bookstore, and towards the back they showed an intake specifically designed for the LT1 by edelbrock. It basically looked like a stock intake with "Edelbrock" stamped on top. They claimed a gain of 25hp and 35tq(doubtful). I'm guessing this intake was never released due to lack of any performance gains?

It was actually "built".... but they never sold it. I saw one in the Edelbrock midway display at one of the NHRA National events back in the 90's.

Jegs actually put it in their catalog at the time.
