edelbrock head and cam package

just looking at their site and came across this..

not sure what to think..

I have a set of heads on order from them almost out of sheer curiousity.. will post pics on my site when they show up.. they will probably go straight to the porter.. I plan on moving the valves up and down with a xe 224/230..

the heads were about 1040 complete.. don't know about the cam.. assume competitive with other brands.. Summit has a posting under the part number online but no price yet, too new.

Hmmmm, a 170cc intake head, wonder how it flows compared with stock. And a single pattern tiny little cam, 73 hp!!!

Given the port and valve sizes and cam specs, I need to see those dyno numbers verified before I will believe them. But if it's for real it's quite a deal at $1040 for the heads!

I'll be sure to post dyno numbers when all is said and done.. can't say the heads will be "as cast" by then but at least will provide an opportunity for laughing or crying..
