ECT (waterpump to PCM)

ok, i searched this question and most of what i came up with was for the ECT sensor to the guage cluster
is there a possibility that this little sensor is what is causing the car too not start out of the blue?
can someone explain how this little sensor (if possible) has the ability to not let the car start?
i have checked and troubleshot damn near everything else to try and get it too fire too no avail....

Car is totally just not cranking?

DO you have a trouble code for it? Does the car run extremely rich if it does crank?

I would look for something else as a cause, but if you have a ECT fault what will happen is the car will crank and run pig rich until the computer trips a code for it.
