ECT or knock or injectors? Where did pcm4less set your fans on point at?
I dont know if Im having issues cuz of a ECT or what but the first fan came on instantly after startup. This was right after getting a computer from pcmforless. Im trying to figure out where he set the fans to come on and if the ECT is bad that could be why it kicks on instantly. Now Ive been having issues with the motor since I got it and alot of it was I only have one knock and the computer I get was for a 4.3L dual knock motor and I didnt know it.
Its either the ECT or the knock sensor I think. Also if I unplug the MAP sensor, the motor kills. Is that normal? Its idling at 1200 rpms from the start, lacking power, and backfires above 1500 or so. If Im cruising around 35-40 I can hear the motor stumbling like a missfire. Also if I unplug the ECT nothing happens. I think thats a good indication that its bad. Just waiting on Bryan to tell me where the fans are set at. or where has he set most other peoples?

well i fixed it. My buddy pulled out his 19 pound injectors to replace them with 42 pound cuz he just dropped in a intercooled Vortech S/C in his 02 Mustang and I used his old injectors to try it out and that was almost it. The vac canister was bad also so i need a new one. Somehow it was leaking. Also replaced the knock and ECT trying those before I did the injectors so at least they are new
