I need the part number for the ECM on a 1993 Pontiac Formula LT1 OBD1.
Thanks Guys.

The part number is:
16159278

You will also need a PROM chip with the PCM. It is removable and you could just use the one in your current PCM. (if the PCM went bad and you want to replace it)
Otherwise, you will need to order it separately.

Yes, I was talking about the ECM. The part number is right.
ECM = Engine Control Module
PCM = Powertrain Control Module

Even if the used term for the 93 unit is ECM, calling it a PCM couldn't be wrong either, since it still controls some transmission functions.

I think the service fellow said I needed a new ECM. It wasn't kicking my fan on. I know I can change it myself...couple of connectors need to be unhooked and plugged back in.

Yep, it's easy to change. Just make sure you take out the PROM unit before you trade the old one in as a core. You will need the PROM for your new ECM.

The service shop said..."the 02 sensor is not responding" I don't know if this is an ECM problem or the sensor just failed. Any idea?

Is the Promm soldered to the board? I'm new in the LT1 engine. Does anyone had a picture of the Promm in the ECM/PCM?
