Ebay EGR block off plates

Has anyone used these? Did the one for the exhaust manifold seal up well and stay sealed?

Only reason I ask is because I recently changed exhaust manifold and collector gaskets and deleted EGR. I cut the tube off flush at both manifold ends and had them welded shut.... Well, I think the end on the exhaust manifold is now leaking again.

Thought I'd check and see if anyone here is using them and what kinda results they got after extended use. Don't really wanna do this again.

"Ebay" is not a seller. There could be hundreds of people selling different plates. I think you need to be more specific (like give a link to the product).

Probably be OK if you clean mating surfaces really well and use some Hi Temp RTV Silicone.

I made my own the first time- used 16 gauge steel- held up just fine. Then bought some billet ones off Ebay- I don't recall the seller as it was close to 7 yrs ago now.
