Is yours still working?

I know we have argued over the ebay full opti before, but the $10 cap and rotor is new to me. I have had very bad luck in the past with just replacing the cap and rotor. Every time I have done this its gone bad. I don't run one anymore but the only time I knew for sure it was going to work right when put back together was a new complete opti from GM/Jason.

2nd - I have had more optical pickups go bad than caps/rotors.

That being said - for $25 if you have the time it can't hurt.

 

I'm doing a cam swap right now so the cap swap would be really simpl. Just dont want to put something that will be worse than my used one in.
