read somewhere about the characteristics of the using your local home depot 4" pvc. web page said that air flow is horribly reduced trying to go around a 90 degree bend. my K&N is a goofy shape. i would like to think it was done for a reason. K&N could make a straigt 4" with bends alot cheaper than the custom molded shape they have. i agree about the filter. you have no idea what that ebay thing is. at least stick with a name filter K&N, ACCEL, HOLLEY, SLP, MOROSO. they probably all make filters a hundred times better than the pep boys fram.

 

.....oh, I should clarify that putting in 4" pipe requires more cutting than most people would probably want to do. You must cut the inside of the hood, and move the A.B.S.... Bill...
