The front seats are ok. Starting to show some wear. I have been trying to find a good treatment or something to make them look good. I am scared they are gonna look like crap eventually.

I used Mothers leather cleaner and Mothers leather conditioner and my seats look WAY better I don't know what the previous owner did, but the seats were very dirty and this really cleaned them up nicely.

AxeGrinder30thZ, I am in the same boat as you. I am quite fussy about my car and it's appearance, so these seats really bug me, atleast till I put my foot in her and she rockets off . I can't believe how much more peppier this car feels than my 95 A4 car. I know it has 3.42 instead of 2.73, but it feels like night and day.

Hopefully someone will have a reasonably priced solution for seat covers!

Does your car have a rear window defroster? *L* I am a Canadian and have never had a car without a defroster *L* so its kind of wierd not seeing the grids in the back window!

Yeah, mine has the rear defroster. I'll have to look into that leather treatment. You have the white rims as well?

Yeah I have the factory 16" white wheels. I am not looking forward to keeping them clean, my silver wheels on my 95 built up enough brake dust, but white is going to really show.

I was pondering faking my car into an SS (hood, wheels, spoiler, bading), but I think any real Camaro fan would think it was ricer. SS's sure are pretty, but just way too much $$$ Anyone else have thoughts on faking an SS?

I also had the same idea. I made a topic about an SS hood. I wouldn't care if anyone else thought I was a ricer. If it made me happy, then I'd be just fine. The only thing that would make you a ricer is if you had a SS clone and you went around bragging about your SS. If you are going to make an SS clone, at least admit that it is a Z28. I want mine to be an SS clone for the hood.

Gah, about those wheels... They are a ridiculous hassle to clean and I hate how I will clean them, and after 2 rides out, they will be turning black. Geez!

I guess we're just going to have to really wax up the wheels once they get cleaned to prevent build up!

The other thing thats got me thinking is that this is a 30th car, and its 1 of about 4000 made. Do I really want to be messing around with it? I surely don't want to do anything requiring extra holes in the car so that I can return the car back to factory condition. My 95 is dropped with skirts, spoiler wheels etc, but this car is pretty as is, it'd just be that much prettier as an SS clone

congrats man. nice car keep it that way. a few words of advice. you bought the car to play with don't be timid with it. the borla cat back is the best, i don't care what anyone says. it sounds meaner and gives better power thaan any other one out thier. the cut outs are nice and cheap. cold air is a must. and go all out get the heads and cam cause they seem to be what everyone ends up saving for anyways should probably start off with them. i know thats what im saving for right now

No one will care of you put a SS hood and SS spoiler and SS rims on your car.

If you put the SS badges on however, look out! Not looked upon kindly.

Dress it how you like, but dont make it something it isnt meant to be.

Hmm, interesting. I never noticed that. Now you've scared me. I wonder what's up with that? Guess I get to uncover the car tommorow and take a look. Thanks for pointing it out though.

If you can dig up a 3 year old thread to find one lil comment like that you can find the answer in the 400 threads saying why they are crap.
