Easy Cap and rotor Questions
Easy Cap and rotor Questions
I'm thinking of putting a new msd cap and rotor the stock has 90K miles. The stock one works good its just building up the miles.
1. I was just wondering if there were any better than msd,
2. If there were any guides to replacing the cap and rotor out there?
3. Is it very hard to replace the cap and rotor?
Thanks,
Josh

MSD's are supposed to be pretty nice. It's not that difficult to do, but you will need an e4 torx bit to get the cap off. If you can't get one; you can use one of the throttle body plate bolts. Just use some vice grips to undo it. Just make sure you wrap the threads really well or you will damage them. You might damage them even if you are really careful.
It's not very difficult to do. You might as well loctite the rotor screws too if you haven't done so previously.
