take a normal plug socket and cut about 1" off the end. cut the rubber insert in half and put it back in. use a ratchet wrench for the rear cyls and a normal socket for the others. all can be accessed from under the car with the short socket if you have a lift.
takes me about 25 minutes with the lift

I use an offset 5/8" wrench for all of them. Most are easly accessable from the bottom. Don't even have to remove the alternator like with manifolds. If you don't have the AIR fittings it's a lot easier as well.
You could use a cut off wheel to make quick work of cutting down the socket, or a hacksaw if you don't have access to a cut off wheel. The rubber peice he was refering to was the rubber part of the spark plug socket, it's inside and holds the spark plug in place so it's easier to start when it's in the socket.

Here is a picture of a modified spark plug socket http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...02&BIG=30102-1.
You can save yourself $20 buy going to a parts store and buying a $5 socket and cutting a inch off like somebody above said. I made one myself and works real good, I even use it on cars at work sometimes.

Also I use a 3/4" gear wrench on a spark plug socket, a combo of both of these methods shouldnt take you any more than an hour max to get all 8 of them.

I love my pacesetters... I use normal tools, no modified sockets...

I will just push the plug socket over the plug then I will get a stubby open end wrench and take them out that way. Works for every cylinder.
