easiest way to get the fuel pump out?

easiest way to get the fuel pump out?

drop the tank or cut a hole from the top? thanks for the help.

Once you cut the panel out, you will NEVER wnat to drop the tank. Its ALOT easier. Thats how mine was done, do it There are mesurments aroudn the web with pictures and stuff.

I've done it both ways. The trap door is easier by FAR.

thanks for the link man. those really helped out alot.

got in the car this morning and it just wouldnt start. messed with it for a little while and noticed i wasnt hearing the pump cuuting on.

cant believe it went bad overnight!...oh well!

Have you checked the fuel pump relay before ruling the pump as the problem, or gotten a fuel pressure regulator on the rails?

there is no pressure on the valve and all i hear when the keys is turned is a click. so i guess the relay is working.

ok, i took the pump out and hooked it strtaight to 12v and it works. so how do i get to the relay? thanks

i wished i wouldve checked it first but i dont know where its at...
