Took a little shortcut in modifiying my car-didn't replace the oil pan gasket after the cam change. Just bought a new gasket and cut a piece out of it that goes around the timing chain cover. Now I found out that the shortcut didn't work-my oil pan gasket is leaking. Maybe you guys can tell me what's the easiest way for changing the oil pan gasket and oil pump. Do I need to take the engine out, or I can just jack it up a bit.
