EAS problem.

Hey guys, I just recently got a '94 trans am and the next day of driving it I get a service engine soon light. After work I drive over to my friend's house and we find out the light has to do with an EAS problem. I found out it means Electronic Air Secondary circuit but I have no idea on how to fix it or why it's doing it. All I know is that every time I clear the code, it turns back on with the fan, so perhaps it has something to do with the fan? Please help, thanks.

What was the exact trouble code?

As a wild guess, check your AIR pump fuse.

There has been a history of the AIR pumps going bad causing the fuse to pop. As already stated, check to see if the fuse is good. If not, replaced it, start the car and see if you can hear it running. If you can then give it time to see if the fuse pops again. If it does then most likely the pump is going bad. I think it had something to do with moisture getting into the pump shorting it out.

Just to let you know, the reason these guys aren't pointing fingers at the fans is because they will always come on and stay on when an SES light is showing.
