E3 plugs good for LT1?
E3 Spark Plugs - JEGS
I have used these in other cars, but are they a good plugs for a LT1?
If not, what should I use?

Re: E3 plugs good for LT1?
Multiple electrodes are gimmicks, OEMs have tested them and not used them.
Platinum and iridium are to reduced gap errosion.
Other than that a sparkplug is a sparkplug just need to find the right heat range.

Re: E3 plugs good for LT1?
If you want a long lasting plug for a stockish engine there is nothing wrong with the Delco platinums especially if you want to change plugs very infrequently.
They can loose the platinum pucks if the engine is more powerful than stock though so if you try and use them on a mildly modded engine maybe be aware that is possible and check.
TR55s are fine so long as the person using them understands they will not last nearly as long as stock plugs, most people who modify their plugs are not looking to leave them in for years at a time so they are good with that.

Re: E3 plugs good for LT1?
I went to my local Napa store and this is what they say they have for my 1993 Z28.
NAPA AUTO PARTS)
The OE plug is not made anymore. R45.
So is this a replacement? Or a simple NGK work as well? My local stores here have not a clue when I tell them my stock plug number.

Re: E3 plugs good for LT1?
Just found this one at Autozone.Ac Delco Copper/Spark Plug (R44LTS) | 1993 Chevrolet Camaro 8 Cylinders P 5.7L SFI OHV | AutoZone.com
I like a copper core, my 5.9L Dakota RT seems to run best on them.
Would this be a good plug too?

Re: E3 plugs good for LT1?
If I were to put the t55ix's . Would that be better than just t55s? Only wanna do this once for a long time and with boltons and stuff I know I won't be over 400hp in the next cpl yrs .got a 96 with 59k . There's too many options ......
Re: E3 plugs good for LT1?
AC Delco makes an IR plug also that is fine, can't remember the # off the top of my head. Platinums have always been a problem in any application for me fouling.
