E/T, is this where I should be?

Got the car to the track today. It's a 94 TA w/ LT4 hotcam kit, K&N intake, ASM headers, cutout, and pcm mail order tune. I hit a best of 13.3 @ 108 w/ a 2.2 short time. The car weighed 3550 w/ me in it. I was running Nitto DR's with 25psi (too high?). It's an M6 and I am having a hard time lauching it. I feel that if I can get the launch down I can hit high 12's no problem. Is this where I should be with these mods? Am I missing something? Thanks for any input.

I hit 13.2 on stock manifolds (Let's thank Jet-Hot for that one) and no CAI with street tires at 25psi. But thats with ported and polished heads. I have all the mods listed on my mods page. I haven't installed the bigger injectors yet though. Mods Page

I'd say you're doing alright, work on the launch. I'm afraid to launch on my rear end, so I never go over about 1500 on launches. But I did manage to nail a 1.7

every car is gonna respond to mods differently! and not all tracks are created equal, or at the same elevation! where are you at?
drop the PSI in them Nittos down into the 18-20 range and heat 'em up good and try and figure out where your car likes to leave the line at, you have to find that median between spin and bog!

I'm in Oklahoma. Thunder Valley Raceway Park. My problem is I spin then let off a bit and then I bog. It's like starting twice. I did a bit more searching on what pressure to use in the nittos and looks like 15-18 psi is what I should use. I'll give that a shot and just practice at it until I get it. I'd really like to hit some solid 12's before I squeeze.

Get some slicks on some older rims and be done with it,It should cut your 60' to the 1.7 range and give you that 12 you want, Your there with the mph but you have to hook!

I am running the same times as you with the bolt-ons in my sig and street tires. 2.19 60' 13.31@107.8. If you can break 2.00 you should be right at high 12's. Try slippen the clutch at 3-4k rpm. I don't reckomend you do this often, but I have gotten 2.05 60' on street tires.

With a good 60' time you would be right where you should be. If you could knock 4/10's off your 60 like a 1.8x you'd be running about a 12.8 or better. Some 4:10's would really help your times, you can get a lot more out of that cam with them. I run BFG dr's at about 18lbs at the track, and have run on my Nitto's street tires too, they both hook about the same for me.
