e-cutout undercar wiring
I wired my DMH e-cutout a while back and used some tie straps and put them on certain parts of the car so the wire wouldnt hang. Well I took it off of the jack and the suspension pulled the plug out. I had it hanging for a while and it worked but looked crappy so I tie-strapped it to a round thing on the side of the wheel (sorry im not very technical) and it pulled it out after a little bit of driving. I am getting tired of trying to open my cutout and it not working and the plug enclosure is wearing down (it still works but the rubber is worn out around it. I just need a solution to all of this to make it look good and to where it wont pull out. Thanks.
There's a few grommets under the car. One under the passenger and driver foot wells, along with a grommet under the spare tire well. You'd have to drill a hole in the rubber, and run the wire through it. Or you could drill a hole in the floor pan and put a rubber grommet from Home Depot in and run the wire through the most convienent place you can find.
thats not what i mean, its all wired through the car i just need to know the best place to wire it from right before the rear axle to the grommet in the spare tire well. sorry about that.
