E-brake cable hitting DS yoke in rear. Anyone have this before?

Hit a good sized bump on the interstate and all of a sudden I had a huge banging under the car. Turns out the E-brake cable going to the R rear wheel was hitting the rear drive shaft yoke. The cable didn't have any retainer that looked like it came loose anywhere. It's like the DS yoke is up in the tunnel a whole bunch. I just used a conduit retainer and self tappers to secure the cable up in the tunnel. Was driving the other day and heard the sound again, only real faint. What can I do about this. Had a new adj. panhard bar installed before any of this, along with new Bilsteins and ES tranny mount. I have Eibachs, but they didn't lower the rear that much. Just don't know why the cable is hitting, it's all the way tight against the tunnel. Did anyone re-route their cable? Appreciate the help.
Thanks

Anyone had this before? The banging is faint but still gets on my nerves. It makes my twitch come back.
