Dynomouth=DYNAMITE

I just installed my used Dynomouth exhaust system (Dynomax Bullet Muffler + Loudmouth) and SWEET JESUS!!! I have never in my life heard a sweeter sound. When you start the car, it gives a nice loud snort, then settles down to a civil idle that is almost indistinguishable from stock. Acceleration brings a very loud trucklike exhaust note. On the freeway in 4th gear the system is still noticeable, but it's not by any means loud or annoying.

It's really icy around here, so I didn't get much of a chance to get on it. I had one window of opportunity. Up until maybe 3500 or 4k RPM, the exhaust note sounds very menacing, but once it hits the higher RPMs, it really rips **** up!

With this mod and my K&N FIPK (which by the way has an impossible-to-install air filter on the LT1) I noticed a big leap in throttle response and my top end seems to pull more. My car has 66K miles so tomorrow I'll go in for a tune and get an even bigger rush. This modding stuff rules!

Dynomouth rules!!!! A lot of Ls1 guys run this exhaust but not very many lt1 guys do. I have it on my car w slp headers and no cat. Its not to loud at idle but after 3k its SOOO loud. My friends say my car is the loudest around. One thing i hate though is how most of the exhaust goes through the pass side exhaust tip. Do any of you loudmouth users have that prob too with the exhaust mostly going through the pass side exhaust tip?

Thats OK, remember it less pipe to travel compare the driver size exit.

It's easiest to install the filter from underneath, where the black plastic is to guard from water. There are just a few screws to take off and then the plastic flips down right where the filter goes. Slide the filter up in there. MUCH easier than trying to jamb it in from the top.

Maybe you knew this already though.
