dynomax bullet or high flow cat?

unfortunately i made the mistake of getting my cutout welded in place of my cat and had an extra few feet of straight pipe mated to it to fill in the gap, however the sound is horrible. i cannot stand the sound of the cutout right there (it resonates soooo bad) and even when its closed the gasket leaks and that sound pisses me off too. anyway i am gonna do full exhaust (if i ever get outa debt ) and i was wonderin what would sound/perform better. heres the setup; jet hot lts (i have no clue on what y-pipe will work, some say go custom, some say mufflex will work ), 2OTL catback w/ a new cutout welded somewhere toward the back. but in the space btw the y and catback what would sound/perform better a dynomax bullet muffler or a high flow cat? thanx

PS- for some reason all of my threads get lengthy...maybe i should learn to get to the point .

I'd do the Bullet. Alot cheaper than a cat.

It's considerably louder. Here are 3 clips with the cat, and 3 with the bullet taped from the same positions. Bottom of the page in 'exhaust clips' labeled WithCat123 & BulletORP123.MPG. The bullet does more for quality control (compared to a straight ORP) than sound level control. It very close to being as loud as the ORP, just sounds better.
