Dynoed my car today

Well, first off it pulled 263.7 hp and 298.4 ft lbs. Which is what i expected. But, towards 4800 on up it started to fall off! so he checked the air/fuel ratio and it stayed at 14.3-14.5 all the way up to 5500 rpm. Jared said that he thinks it should be fattening up the higher i go. He said he would think any where from 12 to 13 at wot. So pretty much my air/fuel doesnt move throughout the rpms. Is this normal???? So, he hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to it, and it said 34-35 at idle, but at wide open throttle it was only at 41 everytime. Will, his partner got out a book and it said lt1's should be at least 47 at WOT! So he thinks i either need to check the fuel pump or get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. He said it seemed to be running real lean. The exhaust was real hot and he said the "chapping" on the headers right outside the heads is an idication of running lean too? Also, he said that why my mph is only 97 also. So, what do u guys think???

For your sake i hope it was a mustang dyno. Your AF is definitly off and you are lean. I don't know what PSI you should be at exactly, but before you look at the pump ect, how old is your filter? As long as your pump is working i'd say make it run richer through the PCM injector pulewidth.

Stock fuel pressure is 43.5psi with no vacuum on the regulater (i.e. @ WOT). But you can test it by just running @ idle and pulling the vacuum line off the regulator.

14 AFR is way too lean, should be 12.5 to 13.3 max. You should be in the 285 hp range at the wheels.

I would suspect a weak fuel pump.

yeah the A/F ratio is way too lean, and the numbers are low for the mods you have, ditch the Ed wrong and get an LT1 edit or tuner cat

I'd wonder if that ed wright chip is giving you some knock retard. Yeah, even with an auto, you should be around 290 with those mods. What does the car run? My car ran that lean, actually leaner on the dyno and still made 300 RWHP. Do you have an LT4 KM, I think that helped mine, but I've had it for years, so no direct comparison.

The best i have only got out of my car is 13.88 at 97 mph (that sucks)!!! Thats why i think something is wrong. Also that was on drag radials. but it runs a consistent 13.95-14.0! that sucks with my mods. Thats without the converter. but runnin that lean would explain that low mph! and yes i do have a lt4 km
