dyno tuning???
Re: dyno tuning???
That is with dyno time right?
How much dyno tuning gains you depends on how good the mailorder tune was, your setup is mild and common so you may not gain much if you don't gain much, don't see it as a negative it just means the tuner did an A1 job with the mailorder tune, if you do gain a lot then it was definetely worth the effort.

Re: dyno tuning???
Mail order tunes are great if your car is running perfect. They dont compensate for everything so some MAF sensors dont read the same, some fuel systems dont deliver the same amount of fuel.. ect. But for $400 Id wait till you get a few more mods or you could very well spend $400 for 10 rwhp which isnt very wise spending of mod money IMO... its too much of a crap shoot on a car that doesnt have any internal mods like a cam.
What you could do is check out the mail order tunes and once you get a good pull on the dyno, it should print out wideband AFR information(if you ask for it) below the dynograph. With the AFR read out the mail order guys can then correct the fueling for max power.
