Dyno tune results

375/360 SAE. Baseline was 369rwhp. The dyno I got tuned at either reads low, or all the other dyno's around here read high. Before the true duals a,d u/d pulley, I dyno'd 375RWHP, and the car is ALOT faster than it was when i dyno'd that. Also, I gained 30ft lbs of torque at 3000RPM's, and over 15ft lbs at most RPM's and 10 peak. The torque curve is alot flatter now. And a heads/cam LS1 with an auto/stall 9" dyno'd 362rwhp, a camed, mild headed LS1 with a stall dynod 360rwhp, a full bolton LS1 dyno,d 345rwhp, so it seems like the dyno reads low, but I really don't care about dyno #'s, track #'s will show the real power, and SOTP says i gained alot, and I normaly don't feen anthing with mods. + i get sideways from 2nd gear rolls now, that never happened before.

I wish I knew, they were on teh car when i bought it from a dealership. The car was 100% stock, except for the heads/rockers/springs. I didn't even know the heads were ported until I took off the intake manifold 2 years later to put a cam in.

Yeah I was wondering how I beat a bolton LT1 with headers when all I had was a CAI and catback.

Heres the before/after dyno graph, the area under the curve gain was amazing

Re: Dyno tune results

The numbers seem about right to me. I have pretty much the same setup (same cam, ported heads) but through an a4. Mine dynoed 363/401 before tune and 355/? with a safe tune afterwards? However my exhaust is a little different (SLP shorties, borla cat-back). Obviously more than enough power to run 11s

Great numbers! If someone were to ask me how much power you
can make with a stock bottom end LT1, some ported stock heads
and an 846, I would not have guessed 375. Especially considering
all the cars I have seen on the dyno. Others with a similar setup
seem to put down lower numbers so you must have things dialed in
nicely.

Thanks, I just ordered a 58mm throttle body, then I'm going to send my intake manifold to Jeremy Formato to get ported, hopefully I see some nice gains with that. + like i said this was on a very conservative dyno, a 2004 GTO M6 with a catback had a baseline dyno of 280rwhp.
