I have access to a dyno, but what can I buy as a program to dyno tune my 95 CAMARO LT1? The shop said that I need a program that they can use to tune my car. thanx

Re: dyno tune help

from my experience i can tell you that if they have a dyno and tell you that you have to provide something to tune your car with whether it be lt1edit or whatever....then they don't "dyno tune" they just dyno...i would go somewhere's else b/c they might not tune it properly just imho

I don't completely agree. To a great extent, tuning is tuning. There are basically two variables - fuel and timing. There's more to it than that, of course. But that's the essence. If they are experienced tuners, and all your ca needs is tuning (as opposed to diagnosis and repair) I wouldn't worry that they have no shop software for the LT1. It's not the commonest platform out there and "shop" versions of software can be quitre expensive.

You need either LT1_Edit or TunerCat. I used to be an LT1_Edit fan, but the price has gone up a lot, so at this point TunerCat may be a better bet.
