Sounds awesome! Looks like I have changed my mind, and am going with a 112 LSA. I appreciate the help guys.

Cool, sounds like a plan. Maybe it'll really like that exhaust bias, i hope so. Be sure to get some dyno numbers and post them!

BTW, nice times. 60', elevation, weather?

Z97LT1,
There are a few people around horsepower junkies (I know one in particular) that run the 224/236 cam and have turned ~350 natural on stock heads. I heard one of the guys car Monday night and I will have this cam.... sounds awesome and the performance is there. Did you go to Fayetteville July 4? A group of us from Greenville F-body met in Raleigh and cruised down with some HP Junkies.

Just curious,
What kind of timing are you guys running NA with these cam at WOT in the higher rpms?
How high do you spin your motor?

Thanks,
Claude

94formulabz: I ran those times last June, in ~71 degree weather, humidity was rather low. 60' on that particular pass was about a 2.08 I think. Not sure on track elevation, but I am pretty sure its less than 3 or 400 feet.

curly: yea, I know the guy that has this cam, but his is on a 114. I wasnt at Fayetteville on the 4th. I have been at the two most recent all nighters however. I am registered on Greenville f-body, and know a lot of the people on there, but I dont post over there much.

Thanks again for the help/advice guys

Thats a great time, don't get me wrong, but humidity isn't that big of a factor compared to temperature. Play around with some of the DA adjusters in this thread http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...6&highlight=DA

71 deg is nice, i only made it to the track once with my exhuast before i did the cam and it was in the 90s grrrr. Unpleasant for me and the car.

If you are going to run stock heads I would do like a lt4 hotcam, If you are going to have the heads ported you can go with a cc230/236 on a 112, I dyno'd just over 360rwhp on flp's dyno through an A4 on a custom grind
If I had a stick it would have been around 375hp at the wheels.
That pretty good considering its a stock shortblockand a capped borla. I know a couple of ls1 guys that didnt hit 360 to the wheels with their head and cam combo's.
But my car has always been a strong runner.
FLP said I am in the running for the most hp on a heads and cam LT1 car that has dyno'd on that dynojet
