Went to Clay City yesterday. Got my Moser 12 bolt w/4.10's swaped out from the 91. All runs were on 17" Nitto 555R's and 93 octane.

Best pass of the day with 3000 DA was

1.633
7.36
94.29 mph
11.497
118.448

All other passes were within a tenth of that as long as I didn't spin.

Good track times to match them dyno numbers. Hopefully the 4L80 behind my 383 doesn't suck to much power away.

Just for argument sake is your cam about the same size as Ramair95TA? I was just wondering if the 4L80e was the reason for the lower numbers or if the cam was sized a bit smaller.

Not sure what his setup is.

I am 3750lbs with driver and the track was hot and muggy in the middle of the day. Not the best time for setting records plus it was the first time at the track with the new set up. For the weather I am very pleased with the times. I look for it to go 11.20's pretty easy with some cool dry air. Then I might take a stab at running 10's NA before spraying on it. I have very little weight reduction done. Most stuff I have has added more weight. I don't have abs and I have a tubular k member and lower control arms. Still has ac,pw,pl,ps,etc.. No back seats. Added SFC, 6 point roll bar, Heavy wheels and tires etc. Amp, sub bla bla bla. I think I could get the car to 3,400 and run 10's pretty easy.

My cam is a 237/242, .600"ish lift on a 108 lobe.

My first runs out with the car went 11.5 @ 118. A plug change and some good weather later at a different track (changing NOTHING else) brought me down to an 11.2 @ 121, then ultimately down to 11.0.

Unfortunately, no. But she's a fat *** (all T/As are). The only weight reduction I have done is !AC, swaybar, !cruise, !backseat, !spare tire and jack. Front suspension is all stock (no tubular kmember, etc). I've also added 100 pounds of roll cage and SFCs.

If I'm feeling froggy, I'll go have it weighed this week.

What gear are you packing to?

BTW it sucks to run a 11.04 so close to a ten sec pass....

Why don't you rub it in? The car will easily go 10s now, just waiting on some good air. The 11.04 was ran on a mail-order tune, which put down 435whp and 410tq. I've only gotten one pass with the new tune, but couldn't hook for crap (track prep that night was terrible). Here's a video:

There's also some interesting commentary in that video, too.

I have 3.90s, full spool, and 26x10.5x15 ET Streets.

Pic Cosper took of my car at clay city Sunday. I am not sure if it was my suspension setup, track prep or my 3rd gear burn outs but the nittos were hooking hard.

Thanks Cosper!

I had an '05 GTO and the lug pattern spacing is slightly different. 120.00 mm on 5 for the GTO, 120.65mm x 5 on the F-Body. Big discussions on the safety of running those wheels on the other cars over on LS1GTO.com. I don't think they ever agreed but the feeling tended towards it not being safe to do this practice....

If asked, I would recommend against running like that...
