My cam is a ~220/226 under .550 lift, I'm sure the cam is similiar but not the exact same as my cam. Baby cams can run good though, see my sig for times in horrible weather. My old setup just put down 385rwhp/368rwtq on a STOCK tune in a 6 speed car also all on the stock bottom end still.

Sorry to ask this again but do you have LE1 or LE2 heads?

1982z28with18s, same here with the lift. Almost spot on with the duration. But I'm guessing a little more LSA than what yours had. Reason being, Joe was told this car might have to pass the sniffer test.

80TA, the heads were done before LE started using stages. They do have the 2.00 1.57 Ferrera valves, with 195cc intake ports. I have the flow sheet laying around somewhere if you would like the flow #'s.

Jeff95TA, yes, dynos and flow benchs do vary. Maybe it was a happy dyno, maybe not. The #'s are SAE , for those of you that were wondering.

LT1Squirrel, the bottom end is stock with 28k on it. Not sure were it peaked at rpm wise. The graph used mph instead of rpm. HP peaked at 114 mph if that means anything to someone.

jchevy, the AF starts off at 12.5 and finishes at about 13 to 1.

if you have similarly stock sized tires you would peak at ~5500, sounds good on the stock bottom end to me

From my experience, Joe O cams don't always dyno real high, but they sure kick some butt on the track. I bet you'll be happily surprised with better than you expected times when you take it to the track.

Thanks Ken. Who knows, maybe if Jim at Speed can find me a few more HP with the new fuel pump and that intake manifold goes on, close to 400 rwhp might not be out of the question. One can only hope.

He's not one of the easiest people to get a hold of. But then again some people have a lot more going on than others.

He's a busy guy, but a good one. We spent a good half our or so on the phone talking about what kind of cam he could design for my intended setup. Seemed to be a truthful and honest guy. Got my stuff pretty quickly. But he was hard to get a hold of. For some reason I was always able to catch him between 11:00am-12:00pm.

Were you the guy that asked about the time to get a motor built? Then griped about him not responding quickly enough? You guys need to understand something. He owns and runs his own buisness and it has nothing to do with cars. He must get 100 calls a day from people that just want to chat or ask stupid questions. He does the car stuff on the side because he enjoys the sport and likes to make people go fast. SEE SIG!

Some of them even dyno high, 428RWHP , and perform at the track. I ran mid 11s in 90 degree weather with a cam just a hair bigger than that one. The heads were ported by Eric Bradby, the same guy that ported Joe's, for the same price that LE charges. Coincidence? I think not
