Dyno results...

Took my SS to the dyno today. was my first time on one. Dyno was a Dynojet.

Results: 285.84 HP
327.03 TQ
Bad thing.... I was getting 11.6* of knock retard at about 4700 RPM according to the Scanmaster. Was hoping to get to 300 HP, but just didn't happen. I'll get the KR figured out and repost the results. Mods are in sig for those interested.

Not bad for bolt-ons, fix the KR and you should hit 300.

thanks. I have a little exhaust leak at the header that needs addressed also. been ticking for a while. could be part of the knock problem. still waiting for the knock module... probably be a while. I hear they are hard to come by these days. got it from GM parts direct. anyone know if they are backordered from them??

Fix the exaust leak. It is probably most of you KR. Low octaine fuel will cause some too.

Several people have gotten the LT4KM from GMPD in the last few days. I think Summit also has them, now.

The module is what filters out the noises from the engine. the sensor just sends the signal to the module to decipher whats going on. That's how I understand it.
