Re: Dyno results

reality shows

I knew Denny went solid somewhere in there. Great #s.

Hopefully the new stepped LTs for C4s work out. Denny has already posted on CF asking about them.

Pick the guy with the lowest ET. Hmm, never known a cam/head package to cut a low 60' time or setup a car to run good times. Now if you could convince Joe O. to pick a cam, port the heads, setup the car and drive it, I bet you'd have a low ET machine.
Looks like a mountain got made from a mole hill again.

For the record.... the reason I said what I said was NOT in disrespect towards Joe Overton. Please read it again..... it was just the OPPOSITE!

Engines don't win races all by their lonesome. It takes a good combination of engine, tranny, gearing, suspension and driver to cut low ET's. Joe will be the first to tell you the exact same thing.

Oh... and CONGRATS to you Steve. Very nice!

Damn fellas... you all are trying for the samething here? Why all the hatred? Damn...

My car isn't running yet, but i'll be more then happy to give everyone input on the cam he picked for me when it's ready. VR 383 with LE3 package in a 6 speed... should be quite special.

Thanks for clearing that up. Wasn't quite sure how to take that one. It was a surprise to see it pulled from another thread and used as a shot at me.

Are you sure that those were LE heads. I thought that Trevor Johnson had to weld them back up and rework them after Loyd did the work.
Did he use the custom cam that you ground for him to make those #S?

I just noticed that Bret said those #s were with LE heads. If they had to be reworked, don't you think that would be relative to the statement?
