Dyno Numbers for SLP Shorties
Dyno Numbers for SLP Shorties
Living in the "Land of Smog Regulation", I only plan to install emission friendly shorties. I don't have the time to pop the headers off every two years or do I have a "good buddy" at a smog center.
I envy you guys that run LT and NO CATs...bastards...in a good way.
So, enough rambling, anybody have any dyno numbers for the SLP shorties or any other "50 state emissions" shorties. I've read a few threads from a local Fbody message board that emissions friendly shorties are just a waste of money, because they don't provide much HP and torque gains. Is this true? I'd like to hear what kind of gains folks are getting with emissions shorties.
Else, I'll go with the K&N FIPK (website shows 17hp gain dyno) or the Corsa exhaust (website shows 14hp gain dyno) and get headers later.
What's the truth on hp gain for emissions friendly shorties?
