Talking dyno numbers!!

Well on the 3rd pull I got my best run, for the record I have Jethot longtube headers with 1' long extentions off each collector and no exhaust, ram air, and a throttle body coolant bypass and thats all the power stuff, oh and a ported maf which is making me run lean, most of the AFR curve was just a smidge under 14:1 utill 5000 or a lil after were it finally dropped to 13:1 at 5600 where the pull stopped. I made 302 rwhp at about 5300 and 338 rwtq at about 3900, made right at or atleast 300rwhp from 4800-5600 though and torque never went below 305 from 2000-5000 , dunno if thats special but it was better than I expected, hopefully with an aluminum drive shaft, electric water pump, and 1.6:1 roller rockers it will do a little better. Scanning for codes tonight, I think my opti is leaving me as im at 78000 miles. Also went to the track the other night with some pretty poor results, it was my first time and a combination of things went wrong... best of 2 passes was a 14.0 at 104 2.5 60' and hit the rev limiter in first and short shifted a couple hundred rpms the rest of the way lol, pitifull, 2nd run was looking to be a mid 13 but I missed 3-4 shift, somethign that would only happen when you pay to find out what you run::, but as soon as I get some new wheels and TIRES and raise the rev limiter back up to 5800 or so I should be in the low 13's at around 107 or 108 if everything goes as its meant to... wont be so nervous next time and hopefully get more runs in.

I set a code for it a while back and it dissappeared and never had a problem since and my car was acting funny today for a short time and the code was turning on and off, turns out I believe it was the maf sensor cause that was the only new code set, seems to be fine now, strange gremlin I guess...

yup, sounds a lil choppy at idle, some think I have a cam when they pull up next to me, sounds badass but way too loud for some people I mean its really loud. On the dyno it was making my vision fuzzy.

Numbers look good! I guess I'm not losing any power with the x-pipe and duals. I was gonna drop them to see if there was a difference, but not anymore.

I'm about to do 1.7s in the next month or so, it will be nice to see a difference of 1.6/1.7 since our mods are very similar. I hope I can hit 320 or more with just the 1.7s. My car ran lean too. 14:1 pretty much across the board. I bet we could both pick up some power if if were a bit richer.

You definitely have low 13s with that power. My car went 13.3 @ 104 with a 2.0 60'. MPH is low I think cause it was on slicks. If they were a stock tire it would have been around 106 - 107 I think.

Congrats on the numbers and good luck with some more track time!

nice numbers, great torque considering the lack of back pressure

tuned it with headers? didnt know there was anything to really gain frrom it, and it was 100 degrees when I dynoed so if it was 50 how much of a diff would that be? OH and my nittos were at mid 20's psi like 24 or so on the dyno is that enough or should I inflate them to normal street tire pressure?

Thats not bad at all ... I did 295hp and 340 torque with Edelbrock shorties through a borla catback (small plate). (stock maf) However, just like you, I cant really cut a good time at the track. A sticky tire is a must. My best is a 13.8 @ 106.1

Nice numbers though... good to see there are still some strong stock cammed LT1's out there

Sorry to let you know man but something must have been wrong with your car. With the mods i have now i got 281rwhp. So with headers and a cutout i'm sure i will hit 300rwhp pretty easy.
