Those are good numbers but with that cam I'd be expecting a lot more. Look at my sig, that's a 224/230 cam on stock ported heads, and I'm rolling a street twin too........

Once you get it all dialed in, you should see at least 400. If you don't, I'd bank on the heads being the problem. I know Phil is awesome at head porting, but if they were jacked to begin with, there's only so much he can do to fix that.

What did your torque curve look like though?? Was is peaky?? I'm really interested in a possible swap to this cam, but with my torque curve on the 224/230, I may just keep that.

IMO, 400 should be cake with this and a m6 car, even with heads that arent phils top notch work like the ones hes working with. He should hit that once he gets the a/f perfected and knock fixed.

I know ellis put down over 400 with it, a4 and a 12 bolt, that should tell you its potential. I would hope to hit 415-420 once my heads get done, but will have to wait and see.

Dont quote me on this, but i think grease's heads were phil's econo port, not even the big heads and he did 412.

Anyways LPE...you ever plan on throwing yours on the dyno? Only 5 or 6 of us even running the cam around here. More dyno results the better. hopefully will get mine on soon.

lt1 edit web site is www.lt1edit.com

As for posting the graph...do you have it saved on the computer? I can put it on the internet for you if you have it on the computer already.

I think a big restriction is your headers. You stated your running rk sport headers and you could definatly benifit from some 1 3/4" headers.

I dynoed the car Ion solton from madz28.com came down and tuned it ... The car dynoed on a mustang dyno 360.3 at only 6400 rpms ... The dynos wideband was way off we could not get good A/F readings .... and the readings we got were in about every 700 rpms... We are going to retune it on a dynojet in the next couple of weeks.. I think the cam will make power up to 7000 easy but i guess we will see... BTW mustang dynos register about 12% lower #s that would put me at 404 on a dynojet

I helped Ion a while back with info. He has got a good file to work with.(I did not provided his tune just mechanical help, Ion tuned his self)

With the GM #847, 1.6int/1.5Ext, Hooker LTs and a set of ported LT1 heads I got 395RWHP. this was the same tune I dyno'd it with before the heads change. I wanted a straight up check and comparision. Tunning should have taken it just over 400RWHP but I have not been back to the dyno.

My peak was at 6,800-6,900 RPM.

This cam picked up 20RWHP over a 224/230XE cam and anouther 50RWHP with heads.

GOOD combo!

He is OBD2 so you cant do anything with it. I would (and do) offer mine, but dont think it would do you much good either seeing i have stock heads still.
