I don't know if it is any good, however.

DynoTech (DTE) doesn't make the DynaSpark anymore. DTE sold off the DynaSpark line to an independant co. According to the DynaSpark Website, their product line is being improved, thus the backorder delays for new units.

BTW, worth the wait IMO.

I wanted to get a Dynaspark from one of the sponsors but they all said they were on backorder and didn't know when they would get any in. So after all the sponsors told me that they didn't have any I sent Dynotech themselves an email so I could learn a little bit more about the Dynaspark they produce, no response. I waited 2 weeks and sent another email to them and still no response. That was about 2 weeks ago so I just gave up on them and I'm getting the MSD opti. If they don't want to help a customer out about their product or produce them fast enough for a $600 price tag then I'll use my money elsewhere.

I placed an order with Thunder racing June 11th

June 27th I got an email from dynaspark

"Very soon,
We have confirmation from our housing manufacturer that the aluminum will be finished this week, then it is just a matter of building them. I would recommend telling Thunder Racing you would like to be placed on a backorder list, they usually order in bulk and they are first on our list, they can add to their current PO.
Thanks"

Now I havent heard anything since..So I emailed Thunderracing today and got a response right back
"We are still waiting, and we just get more excuses every time we contact Dynaspark. You may want to consider the MSD unit instead"

So to sum it up, Dynaspark has terrible customer service

Too many problems with the MSD which is why i wont bother with it...I may just have to go back to a GM unit which i dont wanna do at all
I hate this, my car has been sitting way to long to keep on waiting for dynaspark to actually give me a good response

The MSD is supposed to be a better unit now that it has been fixed with an actual gasket instead of an O ring. I justrefuse to use a Delco because my last one lasted 8k miles and crapped out plus they are not vented like the MSD is.
