Dying opti???

Well it seems like every freakin time it rains or is alot of moisture in the air my car does not start! It is right on the verge of starting i can even hear some cylinders firing. My power seems decent im running 13.39 with bolt ons and a converter, so i dont know of loss of power. Sometimes it does have a slight hesitation off the line and it has a rough idle. (But, this has been going on for awhile) I have replaced plugs, wires, coil, fuel pump, all about 1 year ago. It has 88k on it and i dont think it has been changed before. Is there a way to test the opti???? Would i have had these signs for awhile if it was the opti?? Need help please. I dont want to spend 500 on this stupid thing if it ends of being something else! please help!

Do a search for Shoebox. If you check his sig, he has a link to his page that has some tech info on it. I believe there is a section on diagnosing the opti or checking for spark.

By the way, the opti only costs around $200 shipped from Jason Cromer.

Another option is to pick up a Haynes manual and a spark tester (about $10) from Autozone, Advance, Pep boys, etc. and go by the guide in there. Opti's are very easy to diagnose, I don't know why so many people have problems figuring them out...
