During speed shifting is it bad to bounce off Mallory 685 rev limiter?

I plan on speed shifting, never lifting my foot off the gas and just quickly hitting the clutch. I have my shift light at 6400 and my Mallory 685 rev limiter is at 6700. I will not be that great these first few trys, so will bouncing off the Mallory 685 rev limiter do any damage? If so why?

I would think that could cause engine damage especially while being bottle fed.

Don't be spraying when you do this.

It was going to be only for all motor racing, but what if I did use nitrous and had the nitrous shutoff at 6200 then I speed shift at 6400?
