DTC 46 help please

So after driving home and watching a movie, i had to go somewhere again about 2 hours after i just drovemy car. I go to start it, and.....nothing. Check ALL the fuses and still nothing. No noise or anyhting.

This morning i took my starter in and it turned to be good....wiring to it i made sure was good to....all that is happening is the lights come on, fuel pump primes, i turn the key, and no noise but an eeeeeeeeeee which my radio does sometimes....i can even turn the moter manuelly

i checked for codes and the only one that came up was DTC 46; Personal Automotive Security System PASS-KEY II circut....

i have no idea what this means...could this possibly be the problem?

according to the haynes repair manual it says to check for faulty circuit from ignition switch to theft deterrent module or ECM/PCM.

maybe the chip in the key is dirty.

Does the "eeeeeeeeee" noise sound like maybe the starter is spinning but it's not engaging with the flexplate?

If your VATS isn't working right, put the key in the ignition and put it to the "ON" position. You'll hear the fuel pump relay engage and prime. Watch the "SECURITY" light on the dash - it will either stay on/blink or it will turn off. If the security light turns off, it's not the VATS that's wrong.
