Hey guys what does this code mean. i know its dist. ingition system ( low resistance) thats what the book say at least. i have a new MSD dist. about 1000 miles on it ,park the car for about two weeks went to starrt it now no spark. ???? thaxns guys

 

Not low resistance, but low resolution. It means the computer is not seeing the low resolution pulses from the optispark. Could be a problem with your connection at the side of the intake manifold. Hopefully, not your new MSD. Check fuses, just for the heck of it, too.

 

If DTC 16 is "active", the PCM shuts down the fuel system - pump and injectors = no start. Clear the code by pulling the "PCM BAT" fuse for 30 seconds, and see if it comes back.
