Got to love punks w/ a hardon for the world...
Why don't you tell me this... have you learned to loosen the shock tower bolts to do that special alignment with those special tools?
For ****s sake.
Better yet... You seem like a "special tool" so perhaps you can tell me because honestly I can't remember. The last time I had an alignment done was in the late 90's and the K-member has been out twice since then and the tires that have been on there have worn even.

Just because your car did not need an allignment, does not mean that others wont. Everything he (dangalla) is saying is true.

You seem to be misunderstanding what he is saying.
No you dont loosen the k member bolts when an allignment is done. But if for some reason you do loosen them, as in dropping the K member, there is a very good chance that it wil not go back in EXACTLY the same position as it was before. a sixteenth or even a thirty second of difference would be enough to throw off castor, camber, toe, and steer ahead.

Just because some people have gotten away with dropping the k and not re aligning, by no means is it right to say that one does not have to get an allignment afterward.

It is a safe bet to get it checked.

But you do loosen the shock tower bolts for an alignment right?
Hey... if you want to waste your time getting it checked then by all means do so, but don't think that taking out a k-member will screw up the alignment unless you are a retard.

I didn't get an alignment done after dropping my k-member back in '06.. my car is fine 3000 miles later and so is my tire wear so far.

Bieng ignorant and boasting about it sounds pretty retarded to me

One quick question: Are the bolt holes on your F bodys K member machine fit to the bolt?
