dropping engine out the bottom.. have a couple ?'s

im dropping my engine out the bottom and its my first time. Im using the write ups and they are great but i have a couple questions i couldn't find on this site.

1. For some reason the 12mm nuts on the abs unit will not budge and in turn they both stripped, the 15mm one in the center came out with ease. I was thinking about using some flame to heat it up a little but there is a lot of plastic on the unit and the fuel lines are pretty close.. how can i get them off?

2. I have no reason to take the trans out, so if i unbolt it from the engine do I have to support it? I can't find anything else that really supports the trans besides the support bracket near the drive shaft.

3. Probably a stupid question but I am having a brain fart disconnecting these fuel lines. Do i need a special tool or is there a technique for taking them out? I tried using shoebox's website but the diagram is a little blatent and it is using a tool. So I wanna know if i can take them out without a tool.

The tool is <10 $ i think and well worth having Im sure it is possible to take them out with some creativity or with a screwdriver but personaly I would just get the tool to do it.

Much easier if you take the trans out cuz if you don't then you will have to come up with a way to hold the front of it off the ground...

Get the right tool any thing else might cause you to end up damaging the connector... Autoparts stores carry them...

ok thank you guys.. i realized u do need the tool, gonna go pick that up. I was just under it and yea it would be much easier to pull the trans as well. My only problem now is the brake lines still, I have tried a giant vice grip and even a grip wrench that tights onto the bolt the more you pull and its still just taking metal off the nut not budging.. any more suggestions ha?

are you looking to delete your abs? if so you will have to cut the brake lines anyway...

Would something like PB Blaster work on those bolts (can't really picture the bolts @ work for some reason)?
I would put on some vice grips extremly tight and work it forwards/backwards several times to try and work it out (after letting the PB Blaster set in for a day or 2).

Lol, blatant means obvious. So, what was the problem, again?

If it shows and says a tool, you need a tool.

Then, give just a little twist while pulling the tool and fitting outward. Don't overdo it or bend the fitting sideways, because you might break the clips inside the fitting.
