No, it will have to come out because the crank probably has some damage. I could not imagine doing this job on my back. Don't even waste the time.

If it happens to have damage, I would not recommend paying a shop to grind it. It's too expensive for how cheap you can get a crank. I had several cranks offered locally at $50 each. Got an affordable $35 polish job and I was good to go.

These cranks are interchangeable so you don't need to worry about balancing, it will work just fine without any work.

The motor has 87000 on it.

This is the part I said was loose and the oil was coming from the top where the silver piece meets the block..

2nd look...The oil would squirt out between the two pieces. When I took it off this time, it did not seem to have any pressure build up.
